What is #onthedaily?

Sisters.  Brothers.  You don't have nearly as much time as you'd like to devote to daily scripture study and prayer.  Believe me.  I know.  But I also know that when you do have a few moments of down time you open your Facebook or Twitter app and scroll aimlessly through the feed.  There you are kept aware of not only the goings-on of your friends and family, but also what is trending in news, entertainment, and social issues.  If you're like me you read all of this through the lens of faith, and how a christian should respond to, or think about, these trending subjects.  So, I'm here to help you marry your need for daily scripture and prayer to your mandate to have a heart that beats with Christ's, for a broken world.  Each day I'll take a trending topic and tie it to scripture, hopefully providing a biblical perspective.  I'll then offer a few thoughts of my own with some points up application, and wrap it up with a prayer from my heart that you can use as a jumping off point for your own.  Subscribe and receive a daily devotional in your inbox every day!
